HASTINGS — Take off on Saturday, Sept. 20, for the 2025 5k on the Runway at the Hastings Airport!
Benefiting the Hastings Airport Association, this inaugural event will give runners an up-close look at our local airport at 3300 W. 12th St., all while having fun and supporting a great organization. The Adams County Convention and Visitors Bureau is the title sponsor.
At 8 a.m., join other runners on a route along the Hastings Airport main runway and taxiway, as well as the secondary runway. The course will run past the main airport apron that will have airplanes to view, and the event will begin and end on the 99’s Compass Rose on the terminal ramp!
Because the race takes place on airport runways, certain FAA guidelines apply. For instance, dogs and strollers are not allowed.
Registration is $35 until Aug. 22 and includes a shirt! The fee will increase thereafter, with a final deadline of Sept. 10 to guarantee a shirt.
This race will be timed by Precision Race Results and will award medals to top finishers. Pre-registration is required, don’t delay!
