KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Utilities Department announces beginning Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 9:30 a.m., the outside eastbound lane of 39th Street will be closed from Avenue F to Avenue G for water valve replacement work.
In addition, traffic will not be allowed to go south onto Avenue G at 39th Street. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and to watch for construction workers and equipment. If an alternate route is possible, we recommend that motorists use the alternate route.
