KEARNEY — The catch fence for a two-story golf venue, the Drop Zone has been installed on the southwest side of Kearney.
The facility, owned by Talmadge Jam, LLC, is under construction. It will be two-story and total 19,000 square feet on around seven acres of ground. The building itself will be located at 101 11th Ave.
“The Drop Zone will bring a totally new entertainment experience to Younes Landing. Plans include 32 golf bays, an 18-hole outdoor putting course, arcade games, a full bar and restaurant, and outdoor pickleball courts,” according to Visit Kearney.
“Drop Zone was imagined as a place where screens give way to smiles, strangers become teammates, and downtime turns into real-time connection. This is a community-first space made for movement, laughter, and shared moments that stick,” according to the Drop Zone website.
The venue is scheduled to open March 2026.
