KEARNEY — The City of Kearney announces that the elevator at City Hall will be shut down for repairs beginning Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The project is expected to take approximately 30 days to complete.
During this time, access to the second floor of City Hall will be limited to the stairs. Community members who need services typically provided on the second floor which include the City Clerk’s Office, the City Manager’s Office, and Human Resources are encouraged to call 308- 233-3216 in advance to make arrangements for assistance.
Access to the Utility Billing Office and Development Services on the first floor of City Hall will not be impacted.
Additionally, the elevator closure may affect access to public meetings held on the second floor. Individuals requiring accommodations are asked to call 308-233-3216 prior to the meeting date so the City can provide appropriate arrangements.
