GRAND ISLAND — The Danish Bakery announced they are opening a second location in Grand Island.

“There have been so many moments that make us stop, take a breath, and realize just how lucky we are,” the Danish Bakery posted on social media. “From our first farmers market sell-out to every packed Thursday pizza night and pop-up since, you’ve shown up again and again. You lifted us through COVID-19, cheered us on at every turn, and turned our little bakery dream into something so much bigger — a family.”

“And now, because of you, we are opening second location right here in Grand Island,” the bakery stated.

The Danish Bakery highlighted some of the new things coming for their business:

  •  Pop-ups with special offers and sneak peeks leading up to opening day.
  • New menu items like gourmet sourdough toast piled high with delicious toppings
  • French-style sourdough croissants (yes, they’re as magical as they sound!).
  • And all the warm, fresh, joy-filled bread and pastries you’ve always loved.

“Our Dannebrog bakery will remain the heart of our pizza nights and bubble bread sandwiches and always be the roots to which we began, but this new location at 225 N. Webb Road will be where we get to dream even bigger—because you’ve shown us what’s possible,” the bakery said.

“We’re aiming to open mid November, just in time for the holiday season, and soon we’ll also be hiring more hands to join our bakery family,” the bakery stated, “We can’t wait to open our doors and hearts wide for this community we love so much! Watch for our pop-up events and more info to come.”
