Frost Advisory issued for the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 22, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
HASTINGS — A Frost Advisory has been issued for all south-central Nebraska for the evening hours of Tuesday, Oct. 21 and morning of Wednesday, Oct. 22.
According to the National Weather Service – Hastings, the advisory will be in place from 10 p.m. tonight into 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
“Breezy northwest winds will rapidly diminish during the evening hours allowing temperatures to plummet into the lower to mid-30s late this evening and through the overnight hours,” per NWS Hastings.
Frost and locally sub-freezing temperatures could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
