GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island Area Habitat for Humanity is proud to announce that this year’s Mr. Habitat 2025 campaign raised a total of $97,352, thanks to the generosity, determination, and community spirit of five volunteer candidates: Andy Marsh, Alfredo Ramirez, Jeff Williams, Kevin Denney, and John Dillard.
Andy Marsh was named Mr. Habitat 2025 after raising an outstanding $38,908. His efforts, alongside those of the other candidates, reflect an extraordinary level of dedication to Habitat’s mission.
Throughout the campaign, each candidate hosted creative fundraising events, rallied their networks, and inspired widespread community support. Their efforts directly support Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes for families in the Grand Island area.
The Mr. Habitat celebration was held at Full Circle Venue, where guests enjoyed a friendly competition and Habitat programming. The event also featured a delicious dessert auction, which added to the excitement.
“It is an honor for our organization and for our community to have leaders like these coming together to champion for Habitat. These five gentlemen set outstanding examples of what it means to make a difference, in a very direct way, right here at home. I’m deeply grateful for their generosity of time, energy, and personal resources throughout the Mr. Habitat campaign!”, says Lindsey Jurgens, Executive Director.
Beyond the fundraising totals, Mr. Habitat highlights the community partnership that drives an action-oriented commitment to building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
