LINCOLN — Lincoln Police are investigating after someone found a body just after 9 a.m. Monday morning just east of the UNL campus. “LPD was called to the area of Vine Street and Antelope Valley Parkway for an individual found deceased,” says Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
“Investigators are on scene working to determine the man’s identity, cause and manner of death.” According to KLIN’s Chris Lofgreen the body was found on the bank of the Antelope Creek near the Billy Wolfe Trail.
More information will be released if the death is believed to be criminal in nature.
