GRAND ISLAND – Grand Island police arrested a 45-year-old man on Dec. 16 for charges including misdemeanor flight to avoid arrest and several drug charges.
Police conducted a traffic stop near 13th and Eddy streets. A driving under the influence and drug investigation were completed.
The man was arrested for misdemeanor flight to avoid arrest, misdemeanor DUI (drugs), felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor driving during license revocation, and possession of drug paraphernalia, an infraction.
Because of a recent policy change, Grand Island police are no longer releasing the name of the person arrested or that person’s address.
