KEARNEY — The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the second year of their Rising Stars Leadership Program.
“The future of leadership in the Kearney area depends on intentional investment in people and that’s exactly what the Rising Stars Leadership Program is designed to do,” the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) stated.
“Rising Stars is a high-impact leadership development experience for any professional who wants to continue to grow as a leader, strengthen workplace culture, and make a meaningful impact in their organization and community,” per KACC.
This program is offered by KACC in partnership with BetterCulture and Team Concepts.
A first-year member of the Rising Star Program was quoted, “The Rising Stars program helped me better understand what it truly means to be a leader—not just at work, but in all aspects of life. It strengthened leadership traits I already had and revealed new skills that inclusive, engaged, and empowered cultures require.
Those who take part in the program will develop practical leadership skills, build strong connections with other professionals, learn how to shape workplace culture and prepare themselves for future leadership opportunities.
The application deadline is Jan. 9, 2026, space is limited.
“If you are serious about leadership, or serious about retaining and developing your best people, this is a smart investment,” the KACC stated, “Let’s continue building the leaders that the Kearney area will rely on tomorrow.”
