Former Little Caesars location in Kearney, (Brian Neben, Central Nebraska Today)
KEARNEY — The operator of the Kearney Little Caesars location has been ordered to pay over $5,000 in unpaid taxes to the City of Kearney following a civil lawsuit Buffalo County Court.
The City of Kearney had filed a complaint that alleged Cetara Two Company, the operators of the Little Caesars location, had failed to pay the Restaurant and Drinking Place Occupation Tax in the first quarter of 2024 and first and second quarter of 2025.
The amount due to the city was $5,841.64, per the complaint.
On Jan. 8, Judge Gerald Jorgensen ruled that Cetara Two Company to pay the amount due.
On Sept. 24, 2025, it was announced that four Little Caesars locations in Nebraska were closing, with Grand Island and Kearney among the closures.
The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is holding a Sheriff’s sale for restaurant equipment from the former Little Caesars location, including a commercial pizza oven, dough mixer, flat screen televisions, pizza racks and booth tables.
The sale has been scheduled for Friday, Jan. 16 at 9:30 a.m.
