HASTINGS — The Hastings Police Department released their activity from Friday, Jan. 16 to Sunday, Jan. 18.
Reported Offenses:
- On January 17, 2026, a 20-year-old Hastings resident reported a hit and run accident in the 900 block of North 6th Avenue.
- On January 18, 2026, a 36-year-old Guide Rock resident reported solicitation that occurred in Hastings.
Arrests/Citations:
- On January 16, 2026, a 29-year-old Hastings resident was arrested for possession of controlled substance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, and driving under suspension in the 1100 block of West 2nd Street.
- On January 16, 2026, a 48-year-old Hastings resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1100 block of South Burlington Avenue.
- On January 16, 2026, a 47-year-old Texas resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in the 1100 block of West 2nd Street.
- On January 17, 2026, a 29-year-old Hastings resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under revocation in the 1200 block of Eastside Boulevard.
- On January 17, 2026, a 27-year-old Hastings resident was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana in the 1800 block of West J Street.
- On January 18, 2026, a 53-year-old Hastings resident was arrested for 3rd degree assault in the 700 block of North Lincoln Avenue.
- On January 18, 2026, a 22-year-old Hastings resident was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana less than one ounce in the 1500 block of North Burlington Avenue
