YORK — The York Police Department is providing an update regarding the missing juvenile previously reported on Feb. 7, 2026.
The York Police Department continues to investigate the report of Johnathan Sipe, a missing/runaway juvenile that was previously shared with the community. Officers have been actively following leads and working to locate and return the juvenile home safely.
Officers have determined that Johnathan was in Hastings Nebraska on March 1.
We have shared an updated photo of Johnathan although officers were made aware that Johnathan might have cut his hair.
At this time, the investigation remains ongoing. We continue to ask for the public’s assistance and anyone with information regarding the juvenile’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the York Police Department. If you have an immediate sighting, please call 911. There continues to be no indication that he is in danger or his safety is at risk.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available and as appropriate. We appreciate the assistance from community members who have shared information and helped spread awareness.
