BRADSHAW — The York County Sheriff’s Department along with the assistance of the Nebraska State Patrol, York Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to a robbery in progress at Cornerstone Bank.

On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at approximately 8 AM officers responded to a 911 call from Cornerstone Bank in Bradshaw, Nebraska. Preliminary investigations reveal that a lone male entered the establishment, approached the bank employees while demanding an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle which was then believed to be used to drive to an additional vehicle located out in the county a short distance from the crime scene. The stolen vehicle was located within minutes of officers arriving.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’8” wearing a mask, dark navy coat, black pants and black shoes. Surveillance footage images will be released at a later time. Investigators are currently reviewing additional surveillance videos from neighboring businesses and residences. The York County Sheriff’s Office would appreciate the public’s assistance in obtaining any additional information that may have been seen at approximately 8:00 a.m. on 04/01/2026 in the Bradshaw area.
