The State Patrol’s 66th basic recruit Camp kicked off Tuesday Morning.
Nineteen recruits will be beginning their six months of training at the Nebraska State Patrol Training Academy to become a Troopers.
Recruits come from communities across Nebraska and out of state. Recruits will undergo 22 weeks of training, a rigorous academic program, and hands-on scenarios.
Once graduated, recruits will continue 800 hours of field training paired with a veteran trooper.
