Kearney Police have release more details about the GOP state convention arrest of 51-year-old Mathew Innis. Police say Innis had tackled a security officer while attempting to enter the convention after being denied entry. Innis was arrested for third degree assault and second degree trespassing.
Two men were arrested in separate incidents by Grand Island Police over the weekend. Officers arrested 21-year old Dakota Pankonin who fled police and was found with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Officers arrested 19-year old Emmanuel Varela for reckless driving, and fleeing police.
Two people are in a hospital following a Tuesday crash between two SUV’s on Highway 281 near Webster County. An investigation is ongoing.
A 64-year-old Hastings woman crashed into the Hastings Aqua Court Tuesday for an unknown reason. No injuries were reported.
