One person was ejected from a vehicle after the vehicle rolled while towing a trailer south of Cozad.
At around 9:42 am, August 17th, the Cozad Fire Department responded just south of Cozad on Highway 21 for an accident involving two vehicles, with one occupant having been ejected from a vehicle.
Dawson County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Greg Gilg says an SUV with three people inside was towing a trailer with another vehicle on it.
The SUV lost control traveling north on Highway 21 before entering a ditch and rolling.
The front passenger was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. The passenger was transported to Cozad Community hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
