The NEGOP apologized on twitter after a sexually graphic image from a young adult graphic novel was posted in response to a comment made by Nebraska Democratic Chair Jane Kleeb about gambling.
The image was claimed to have come from material being taught in Nebraska schools.
The image had been posted Friday and was not taken down until about after 10 hours, but it had already been spread and reposted.
NE GOP Chair Eric Underwood stated the person responsible was not authorized and has since been removed from the twitter account.
Late this afternoon, I was notified of a graphic picture that was posted on the NEGOP Twitter account. The post was not authorized. The person responsible for the tweet, has been removed from the account and is no longer responsible for any NEGOP communication.
