A Grand Island man was arrested Saturday on multiple offenses.
GIPD officers responded to a report of a vehicle that had left the road at the 1300th block of 2nd St.
Upon contacting the vehicle, officers observed signs the driver, David Hendrix was under the influence.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers found two firearms Hendrix was prohibited from possessing.
Hendrix was arrested for two counts of Possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, and DUI with a prior conviction.
