Chase County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol are investigating a crash between a bus and a semi.
At around 4 pm Tuesday, Chase County Sheriff’s responded to a report of an accident involving a school bus and a semi. A preliminary investigation indicated that the school bus, driven by Keith Cranwell, 36, of Champion NE, attempted to turn left at the intersection of Highway 15 A and 736 road near Imperial.
The Semi, driven by Chance Lotspeich, 20, of Venango, NE hit the bus. All 11 passengers on the bus and drivers were transported to Chase County Hospital. Three children were later transported to regional trauma centers.
NSP and Chase County Sheriff’s Office is still looking into the cause of the accident.
