South Central Area Law Enforcement(SCALES) is investigating a shooting incident involving Hastings officers.
In a press release from the Hastings Police Department, on Tuesday at approximately 12:41pm on the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue an officer incident occurred where two officers discharged their weapon.
Multiple officers were involved in the incident.
The Hastings Police Department will be conducting an internal review on the officers actions, and SCALES will be conducting a through criminal investigation into the incident.
No injuries were reported.
One suspect was taken into custody by the Nebraska State Patrol on unrelated felony warrants.
