The Bovee fire near Halsey NE is now fully contained, according to Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands officials.
According to an update from Bessey Ranger District, As of Sunday, October 9th, the fire is 100% contained. Fire crews will continue to monitor the area.
The blaze, which was started by a UTV fire on a trail, scorched nearly 19,000 acres of land.
An investigation is still ongoing.
