A San Francisco man has been sentenced to over 10 years in prison for transporting drugs.

42-year-old Esteban Dejesus Huerta Rocha was sentenced to 11 years in federal court for possession of meth, cocaine, and marijuana with intent to distribute. Following the prison sentence, Rocha will serve a five-year supervised release.

In November 2021, a Nebraska State Trooper stopped Rocha and two other men after speeding on I-80 near Grand Island.

Upon contacting the vehicle, the trooper could smell marijuana in the car and saw a jar containing the drug inside. Upon searching the vehicle, 8 pounds of meth, 5 pounds of marijuana, and 10 ounces of cocaine were found.
