On Wednesday, United States District Court Judge Brian C. Buescher sentenced Jared S. Hoerle, 43, to 24 months imprisonment for receiving and possessing an unregistered firearm, a short shotgun.
After serving his sentences, Hoerle will begin a 3-year supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
In May 2021, Nebraska State Patrol executed a search warrant on Hoerle’s residence and his gun shop.
Officers recovered, 20 rifles, 5 shot guns, 9 handguns, and an unregistered short shotgun having a barrel of less than 18 inches in length.
This case was investigated by the Nebraska State Patrol.
