Troopers arrested a Lincoln woman after a pursuit on I-80, Wednesday.
At around 3 pm, a trooper spotted a vehicle speeding at nearly 100 miles per hour on I-80 in Lincoln. The trooper attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle fled.
After around three miles, the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck the inside barrier. They then drove into a field near Lincoln Airport and finally came to a stop.
The driver, Sarah Norton, 24, of Lincoln was taken into custody without further incident. Norton was arrested for flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, possession of meth and paraphernalia, and a warrant from Lancaster County.
