A California man was sentenced to over 5 years in prison for drug charges.
On October 21st, 26-year-old Hector Diaz was sentenced to 83 months in prison for possession of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
On January 8th, 2020, Diaz was traveling on I-80 in buffalo county when they were pulled over by an NSP trooper for driving onto the shoulder twice. Diaz and a passenger gave conflicting stories about their travel.
After troopers were given consent to search the vehicle, authorities found 10 packages of methamphetamine.
