A Hastings man was sentenced for drug charges in federal court.
Robert Williams, 52, of Hastings, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for possession of meth with intent to distribute. After completing the sentence, Williams will serve an 8-year supervised release.
On July 9th of 2020, a confidential informant met with Williams to purchase meth, though the deal fell through. Investigators then obtained a search warrant for Williams’s residence, eventually finding around 260 grams of meth.
