The Nebraska State Patrol will be working overtime this Thanksgiving to ensure and enforce safe driving this holiday season.
NSP will be participating in their annual Click it or Ticket campaign. The effort will run from Wednesday Nov. 23 through Sunday Nov. 27.
AAA predicts nearly 50 million Americans will be travelling over 50 miles for Thanksgiving this season, an increase of 1.5% from last year.
The effort is made possible through a grant of $24,780 from the Nebraska Department of Transportation – Highway Safety Office.
