Govenor Pete Ricketts showed his support for a bill that would allow the permanent sale of E15 fuel.

The bill titled, the Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act, was presented to legislation Wednesday by Sen. Fischer and Sen. Sasse, with 11 other senators.

The bill would allow year-around nationwide sale of ethanol blends higher than 10%, increasing the availability of biofuels like E15.

Last spring Ricketts joined with seven other governors on a letter to the EPA and formally requested for the sale of E15 year-round without restrictions.
