More details have been released on the arrest of Nebraska interim football coach Mickey Joseph, 54 by authorities.
Joseph was arrested Wednesday on charges related to a domestic assault incident.
According to court documents Lincoln Police were called to the residence 2 p.m. Wednesday by the victims who described they had been pushed, choked, and punched.
Upon arrival, the victim had visible signs of redness and swelling near their left eye.
Another individual at the home, a relative of the victim, reported to police they saw the assault take place.
Jospeh had been gone from the home before police arrived and was later located after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Joseph was lodged in Lancaster County Jail and had a bond set at $20,000.
