Four teens are facing charges after a pursuit. The incident happened around noon yesterday when GIPD observed a vehicle lose control near Broadwell.
The vehicle then took off at a high rate of speed, being located on White Avenue. Upon contacting the vehicle, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana. After searching the vehicle, police found baggies of marijuana, as well as a scale.
Two 13-year-olds were taken into custody on minor in possession of tobacco and alcohol, and possession with intent to distribute, among other charges. A 15-year-old male was referred for MIP, possession with intent to distribute, and obstruction, and a 17-year-old female was arrested for MIP.
