A Grand Island man is facing several charges after discharging a firearm inside a home on Christmas day.
On Sunday, December 25, at approximately 5:48 a.m. Grand Island Police responded to a report of gunshots at a residence on the 400 block of East 1st street.
Upon arrival officers heard several gunshots and observed a woman with a child flee the residence.
The suspect, Isaac Aragon, 26, exited the home with a firearm in hand after breaking a window and firing inside the home.
Aragon dropped his weapon, and was taken into custody.
GI Police noted damage from bullet holes on the nearby residence that was unoccupied at the time.
Aragon was arrested for Unlawful/Intentional Discharge of Firearm, Use of Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, Intentional Child Abuse and Criminal Mischief.
