A Kearney Woman has been sentenced to more than 4 years in prison on drug charges.
53-year-old Tammie Young of Kearney was sentenced in federal court to 54 months in prison for the distribution of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
In 2021, investigators with the Trident enforcement team conducted multiple controlled purchases of meth from Young in Kearney. In January of 2022, Young was stopped for a traffic violation in Kearney. After a search, officers found a suspected meth pipe and a small baggie of methamphetamine.
