Grand Island Public Schools announced three finalists for interim Superintendent for the district Friday.
GIPS board made the announcement Friday after reviewing several candidate applications through the Nebraska Association of School Boards.
The three finalists for full-time interim Superintendent are Mr. Matthew Fisher, Dr. Virgina Moon, and Dr. Michael Teahon.
Interviews will be held Tuesday, January 10, at the at the Kneale Administration Building in Grand Island.
Following in-person interviews, the board will further discuss and offer the position to the chosen candidate.
The board will then hold a motion to approve hiring of the chosen candidate.
