KEARNEY-CHI Health Good Samaritan is ranked in the top five percent of hospitals nationwide for superior clinical performance according to a recent press release distributed by Healthgrades.
Healthgrades, the #1 site Americans use to find a doctor or hospital, posted the release to their website on Jan. 17 announcing the recipients of the 2023 America’s Best Hospitals Awards and State Rankings.
For the fourth consecutive year, Good Samaritan was named one of the 250 best hospitals in America. Only three Nebraska hospitals received recognition including a sister hospital, CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha.
In addition, Good Samaritan was named as one of the 100 best hospitals for overall clinical excellence in several specialty areas including cardiac care, coronary intervention, critical care, gastrointestinal care, gastrointestinal surgery. They also received awards of excellence for stroke care and surgical care.
According to the press release, Healthgrades, using proprietary data, simplifies the research process and empower consumers to choose experienced doctors who practice at high-quality hospitals. To determine the top 250 U.S. hospitals, Healthgrades evaluated clinical performance for nearly 4,500 hospitals across more than 31 of the most common procedures and conditions. In tandem with the national recognition, Healthgrades measured the hospitals across 18 key specialty areas* to identify the highest-ranking hospitals in 32 eligible states.
