A Kearney man who has been missing since late February has been found dead in Omaha.
On Monday, at 3:45 p.m. Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a body near 66th and Rainwood Rd.
Once on the scene, deputies located the deceased person 15 feet from the roadway.
The deceased person was later identified at Patrick Weber, 56, who’s been missing since late February.
An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday.
Authorities are now investigating the case as a homicide.
The investigation is in conjunction with the Kearney Police Department, and the Council Bluffs Police Department.
