HASTINGS – The Kearney Bearcats boys golf team earned another invite victory on Thursday, shooting 316 and pacing ahead of other area schools to earn the win in Hastings.
Kearney Catholic shot a team score of 336, finishing in third. North Platte was runner-up at 326. Grand Island ended in 4th at 353.
Kearney’s Dylan Dahlstedt claimed the top score shooting 74, while Prestin Vilai for Grand Island was second at 76. The Bearcats had another in the top three with Owen Bartee ending third at 77.
The Stars’ Alex Abels was 7th shooting 82, followed by Kearney’s Perry Swarm at 8th (82), and Nash Malone of Kearney Catholic in 9th at 82.
The Bearcats rounded out the top ten with Koji Kitabatake shooting 83. KCHS had Landon Edeal finish at 13th shooting 84.
