ELM CREEK – Elm Creek high school head football coach Josh Rhode is stepping down from his position with the Buffaloes.
Rhode spent two seasons coaching at Elm Creek. This past fall the Buffaloes had one of the biggest turnarounds in the state going 9-2 as they advanced to the Class D2 state quarterfinals before they were beaten by eventual champion Dundy County Stratton.
Before coaching at Elm Creek, Rhode also coached at his alma mater SEM.
