Kearney Catholic High School is hitting the stage this evening with their spring musical “The Trial of the Wicked Witch.”

The show is a court room comedy-drama where the Wicked Witch is on trial for her crimes against Hansel & Gretal, Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. Featuring the Evil Stepmother as the defendant’s lawyer, Jack the Giant Killer as the guard, Little Red Riding Hood as the prosecutor, and The Three Little Pigs as the baillif’s.

Cast is school wide with a mix of junior high students in the show.

According to senior and cast member Zebadiah, who plays Prince Charming, this is Kearney Catholic’s first musical after a five-year pause.

The show will be Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 30 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. Kearney Catholic students get free admission with their activity pass.

Proceeds will go towards supporting the Fine Arts Program.
