Kearney Police Department arrested a man connected to an armed robbery Thursday.
On Thursday May,19 at 2:30 a.m., KPD received a report of an armed robbery in the 1700 block of Avenue E.
The victim stated he was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by a white male and black male.
The victim was transported to Kearney Regional Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
It was reported that suspects took personal items from the victim’s home and left the area.
A preliminary investigation found this was not a random incident as individuals involved knew each other.
One of suspects was later identified as Ronnie Lee Swartz, 26. Officers arrested Swartz Thursday evening on a felony arrest warrant.
