A Washington woman is in custody after leading NSP Troopers on a multi-county pursuit.
Just after 11 pm Friday, Nebraska State Patroll was notified that Seward County Sheriff’s were in pursuit of a vehicle that fled a traffic stop. Troopers took over the pursuit as the fleeing vehicle continued on I-80 through Lincoln at over 100 miles per hour.
The vehicle finally came to a stop near Stevens Creek, at which point the driver fled on foot.
The driver, 31-year-old Gorgina De La Cardena was arrested for flight to avoid arrest, Willful reckless driving, and obstructing an officer.
