Troopers located 55 pounds of cocaine at an eastbound I-80 rest stop near York.
On Friday, a trooper contacted a driver about a vehicle license plate violation.
During the encounter, criminal activity was suspected.
A search inside the vehicle revealed 55 pounds of suspected cocaine in the spare tire compartment.
The driver, Nicandro Garcia-Perez, 38, of Chino Hills, California, was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver, and no drug tax stamp. He was lodged in York County Jail.
