OMAHA – The Kearney Runza Senior Legion Baseball team (11-9) hits their midpoint of the season heading to the CWS Prep Tournament in Omaha beginning today and running through Sunday.
The tournament is a round-robin style event with teams traveling across several states to compete in Omaha.
Kearney is scheduled for six games beginning today with matchups against Millard South at noon and Rapid City, SD at 2:30 PM.
Thursday, Kearney is scheduled to face Bryant, AR at 7:30 PM. Friday the Runza Seniors will have another doubleheader taking on Sheridan, WY at noon and Fremont at 2:30 PM.
On Saturday, Kearney wraps up their scheduled matchups at 12 PM facing Creighton Prep 2.
All of the Runza Seniors games will be played at Millard South High School.
