The United Way of the Kearney Area is celebrating their Annual Freedom Fest today.
The event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Viaero Center.
Food vendors include Candy Clouds, Rolling Snack Bar, Buddha Meats, and more.
Some of the changes to this years Freedom Fest is that United Way has changed to a ticket model for entrances by car.
In prior years, attendees could do a suggestive donation but United Way has changed to an entrance fee for attendees.
The general fee at the event is $30 per car and tailgating fee for $60. Tickets can also be bought online at uwka.org at a discounted price.
This years event will also not include games from Rockit Event Pros.
However, free activities that will be there include a bounce house, corn-hole tournament with prizes, and bingo.
The fire work show will be put on by the Axtell Fire Department.
