NSAA Basketball // Central Nebraska Today
NEBRASKA – Girls basketball Sub-District championships wrapped across the state Thursday for Classes C1, C2, D1, and D2, setting teams up for district final chances beginning next week.
In Class C1, GICC will host the C1-3 District Final against West Point-Beemer, while Minden battles Milford in the C1-5. Broken Bow hosts Battle Creek in the C1-6 championship, Gothenburg takes on North Bend Central in the C1-7, and Adams Central will host Arlington in the C1-8.
Class C2 features Ord traveling to Crofton for the C2-1 title, while Hastings St. Cecilia will host the C2-7 championship against Clarkson/Leigh.
In Class D1, Sandy Creek will head to Pender in the D1-1 Final, Southern Valley hosts Amherst in the D1-3 District Final, St. Mary’s will host SEM in the D1-5 championship, Alma visits McCool Junction in the D1-6 championship, and Centura is set to host Summerland in the D1-7 final.
Finally in Class D2, top-seeded Overton hosts Lawerence-Nelson in the D2-1 championship, while Wilcox-Hildreth hits the road to Plainview for the D2-7 title and Shelton hosts Humphrey-St. Francis in the D2-8 final.
