HASTINGS — Hastings College’s Melody Round-Up Parade is in beautiful downtown Hastings this Saturday, September 28, 2024. Step-off is at 10:00 am.

The Melody Round-Up Parade is a traditional parade with high school bands, antique cars, Hastings College organizations and the Hastings College Marching Bronco Band.

Participating high school bands include:
• Adams Central
• Blue Hill
• Broken Bow
• Chambers
• Fairbury
• Franklin
• Giltner
• Hastings High School
• Hastings St. Cecilia
• Harvard
• Milford

The tentative parade order and map of the route are available at hastings.edu/melody.

The Melody Round-Up Parade is typically held with Hastings College Homecoming events, but Homecoming this year is October 25-27, which coincides with state marching competition, so the parade was moved up.

Due to partial closure of Hastings Avenue downtown, the parade will begin at approximately 4th Street and Kansas Avenue, proceed west down 4th Street, then turn and proceed south on Denver Avenue and east on 2nd Street to Colorado Avenue.
