HASTINGS — The Hastings Police Department released their activity, reported offenses and arrests and citations from the Oct. 4-6 weekend.

Reported Offenses:

  • On October 4, 2024, a 68-year-old Hastings resident reported a theft and unauthorized use of a financial transaction device in the 700 block of West 14th Street.
  • On October 4, 2024, a 51-year-old Hastings resident reported an assault in the 1700 block of Crane Avenue.
  • On October 5, 2024, an 81-year-old Hastings resident reported a theft in the 300 block of South Hastings Avenue.
  • On October 5, 2024, a 31-year-old Hastings resident reported threats in the 700 block of Crane Avenue.
  • On October 5, 2024, a 24-year-old Hastings resident reported a theft in the 600 block of South Burlington Avenue.
  • On October 6, 2024, a 38-year-old Kearney resident reported a hit and run accident in the 2000 block of West 2nd Street.

Arrests/Citations:

  • On October 4, 2024, an 11-year-old Hastings resident was cited for possession of tobacco products in the 200 block of North Marian Road.
  • On October 4, 2024, a 14-year-old Hastings resident was cited for possession of tobacco products that occurred on October 3, 2024, in the 200 block of North Marian Road.
  • On October 4, 2024, a 13-year-old Hastings resident was cited possession of tobacco products that occurred on September 17, 2024, in the 200 block of North Marian Road.
  • On October 4, 2024, a 16-year-old Hastings resident was cited for minor in possession of tobacco production the 1100 block of West 14th Street.
  • On October 4, 2024, a 12-year-old Hastings resident was cited for third degree assault fight by mutual consent in the 200 block of North Marian Road.

  • On October 5, 2024, a 17-year-old Texas resident was arrested for runaway offenses in the 2300 block of West 7th Street.
  • On October 5, 2024, a 19-year-old Omaha resident was arrested for threats in a menacing manner and parole violation in the 100 block of South Hastings Avenue.
  • On October 5, 2024, a 32-year-old Texas resident was cited for possession of marijuana less than an ounce in the 900 block of West 2nd Street.
