BERTRAND — The Village of Bertrand issued a boil water advisory after the loss of well controls during the morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 22.
Per the Village of Bertrand, there was the loss of well controls around 7 a.m. which caused a loss of water pressure throughout the community.
Residents and customers are advised to boil their drinking water until further notice and the village asked for the watering of lawns to be discontinued until further notice.
“We are diligently working to fix the issue and apologize for any inconvenience this might cause,” the village stated on social media.
