GRAND ISLAND — An attempted burglary was reported in Grand Island after a suspect had broken into a garage and attempted to access a locked car.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers reported to E. 10th St. in reference to an attempted burglary.
A 22-year-old man reported that sometime between 6 a.m. and 7:50 p.m., the locks on his garage had been removed and someone had entered his garage and attempted to access his locked car.
The locks from the garage doors had been stolen, but no other items were observed to be missing.
The case is under investigation by the GIPD.
