HASTINGS — The races were decided for Hastings mayor and the city council positions on Election Day, Nov. 5.
In the race of Hastings mayor, Jay Beckby, claimed 5,633 votes, while opponent Jacque Cranson got 4,556 votes.
In the City Council Ward 1 race, Michael Anderson received 1,141 votes, while Raquel Maar received 538 votes.
In the City Council Ward 2 race, Larry Consbruck received 1,810 votes, while Pet Clamm received, 1,006 votes.
In the City Council Ward 3 race, Maggie Esch received 1,419 votes, while Jody Stutzman received 1,296 votes.
In the City Council Ward 4 race, Brian Hoffman received 1,249 votes, while Craig Hubbard received 1,012 votes.
